Where I Can Help

📍Colorado: Central Mountains & Colorado Trail

I live at the base of two major mountain ranges and run year-round across the Gore and Tenmile Ranges, Sawatch, Sangre de Cristo, and the Colorado Trail. From high-alpine routes to long-distance fastpacks, I’ve explored the terrain on foot and bike—and can help you find the best ways in.

📍Washington: Cascades, Rainier, & Olympic Peninsula

From ultra races on the Loowit Trail to a 2-night Wonderland Trail fastpack, I’ve put down serious miles in Washington. I can help with route ideas, pacing, gear, or just how to mentally prepare for a big day (or three) out.

📍Oregon: Mt. Hood, Sisters & Wallowas

I’ve circumnavigated the Timberline and Three Sisters loops, climbed summits, and explored lesser-known routes like the Wallowas. I can share ideas for fastpacking, racing, or just taking in the scenery at your own pace.

📍New Mexico & Arizona: Taos to Rim2Rim2Rim

With experience across Taos, Santa Fe, the Organ Mountains, and Grand Canyon’s toughest crossings, I can help anyone looking to explore the Southwest’s high desert trails and iconic canyon routes.

📍California, Montana, & Northeast US

From Glacier National Park to Death Valley to the Adirondacks, I’ve run, climbed, or biked across many of the U.S.’s wildest places and love helping others plan ambitious multi-day efforts or simple scenic days.

📍International: Nepal, Central America, Portugal

From Everest Base Camp to summiting both volcanoes on Nicaragua’s Ometepe Island, I’ve trail-run and trekked across the globe, often solo. I offer real insight on international travel logistics, safety, and trail culture.

Meet Nichole

I’m Nichole—trail runner, bike tourer, yoga teacher, writer, and mountain mover. I’ve spent the past decade chasing trails across the U.S. and the world, from Colorado’s 13ers to Central America’s volcanoes. I’ve run ultras, fastpacked through the Cascades, and pedaled thousands of miles between summits.

Today, I live in Colorado, where I run year-round and work as a writer and trail editor for Komoot and AllTrails. I’m also an EMT and certified yoga instructor, and I’ve supported friends through 100-milers, injury recovery, and gear meltdowns. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time backpacker, I’d love to help you go farther, feel stronger, and love the journey.
