Hi, I’m Nick. I’m a former thru-hiker, trail guide, and the creator of Pack & Soul, a documentary series about my 2,193-mile journey on the Appalachian Trail. I’ve led backcountry programs for teens, guided first-time hikers, and helped solo travelers find the confidence to get out there—whether it’s their first overnight or a multi-week trek. I believe the outdoors is where we become who we are meant to be. Let’s plan something that moves your body, challenges your spirit, and leaves you with stories worth telling.
My Specialties
• Solo Travelers & First-Timers – I’ve been there. I’ll help you break it down, prepare smart, and go confidently.
• Families with Young Kids – I’m a parent, too. Let’s talk kid-friendly trails, safety, and sparking a lifelong love of nature.
• Wilderness Survival & Backpacking Logistics – From gear lists to navigation to trail meals, I’ve got you covered.
• Philosophy & Trail Culture – I bring stories, soul, and a deep respect for what time outside can teach us.
I’ve walked the whole thing and helped dozens of others get started. I’ll guide you through everything from section hike strategy to seasonal conditions, gear, food drops, and the mental side of the trail. (See my Youtube channel all about it: HERE)
From the desert to the high peaks, I know the best backpacking routes, training hikes, and trip timing. I’ll help you avoid permit pitfalls and find the trail magic.
Fluent in Hebrew and familiar with the country’s diverse trails and landscapes. I can help you plan an active trip that weaves culture, nature, and meaning.
