Get To Know Owen Eigenbrot

Hi, I’m Owen! I’ve hiked over 13,000 miles since 2015, including some of the most rugged and rewarding long-distance trails in the world. Whether you’re planning your first backpacking trip or a thru-hike, I can help with route selection, gear, logistics, and trail confidence so you can focus on the adventure, not the stress.

My Favorite Adventures

🏔 Sierra High Route – The toughest and most rewarding hike I’ve ever done. Navigating off-trail alpine terrain, avoiding mosquitos, and dodging lightning storms—all while being surrounded by mind-blowing views.

🎒 Thru-Hiking the John Muir Trail – A life-changing experience through the heart of the Sierra Nevada. Seeing my mom crush this trail at 70 years old made it even more special.

🛶 Backpacking & Packrafting in the Grand Canyon – Combining hiking, scrambling, and paddling to experience the canyon from every angle.

✈️ Solo Traveling in Nepal – Trekking through Annapurna, Solukhumbu, and the Kathmandu Valley on my first major international backpacking trip.
