Hi, I’m Amy. I’m an ultramarathoner, trail runner, and mountain athlete with a love for pushing limits in some of the world’s most incredible landscapes. I’ve run ultras across Mexico, England, and Guatemala and climbed peaks like Pico de Orizaba. Whether you’re gearing up for your first endurance event, planning a long-distance trail run, or just looking to balance adventure with recovery, I’m happy to share my experience.
For me, the outdoors is about movement, challenge, and mental clarity.
I grew up in Yorkshire, where I spent my childhood running through the countryside, hiking with my grandad, and learning to appreciate the quiet power of nature. As I traveled, I realized that no matter where I was in the world, the mountains, forests, and trails always felt like home. Running, climbing, and pushing myself physically became not just a passion, but a way of life.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where camping trips and mountain hikes shaped my love for the wild. That love became my whole life—I’ve since climbed, skied, and dove across the world. I left my corporate job two years ago to live this life more fully, and I thrive in remote places, big challenges, and the quiet peace of wildness. Whether you’re training for a summit, diving into solo travel, or curious about getting into mountaineering or backcountry skiing, I’d love to help you feel confident taking the leap.

Spending time outside grounds me—it clears the noise, slows me down, and helps me breathe easier. It’s the medicine I can take back with me into daily life. I spent 11 years at REI, working in retail, guiding trips, and coordinating operations for the Experiences division. Before that, I worked in natural resources management with various land agencies, giving me a deep understanding of public lands and how we recreate on them.
My passion lies in helping people reach for adventures they might otherwise think are unattainable, whether that’s hiking a remote alpine route, traveling internationally for the first time, or finding the courage to explore solo. A particular focus of mine is supporting women in the outdoors, from day hikes and backpacking trips to solo international travel.
