Nichole Sellon

Profession:

Extreme Athlete | Yoga Instructor | Personal Trainer | Professional Trail Editor

I’m Nichole—trail runner, bike tourer, yoga teacher, writer, and mountain mover. I’ve spent the past decade chasing trails across the U.S. and the world, from Colorado’s 13ers to Central America’s volcanoes. I’ve run ultras, fastpacked through the Cascades, and pedaled thousands of miles between summits.

Today, I live in Colorado, where I run year-round and work as a writer and trail editor for Komoot and AllTrails. I’m also an EMT and certified yoga instructor, and I’ve supported friends through 100-milers, injury recovery, and gear meltdowns. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time backpacker, I’d love to help you go farther, feel stronger, and love the journey.

Lindsey Voegele

Profession:

Outdoor Educator | National Park Ranger | Wilderness First Responde

Hi, I’m Lindsey! I’ve spent the last decade working across eight states with the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and now with U.S. Fish & Wildlife in the National Wildlife Refuge System. Wherever I’ve been, I’ve always found myself helping others plan their visits—sharing trail knowledge, route ideas, and safety guidance drawn from real on-the-ground experience.

I’m also a passionate long-distance hiker. I met my husband on the Appalachian Trail and got engaged while hiking the PCT. Thru-hiking has shaped so much of who I am, and I’d love to help others—whether you’re solo, planning your first backcountry trip, or dreaming of months on trail—find that same kind of joy and growth in the outdoors.

Danielle Backman

Profession:

Professional Tour Guide | Outdoor Educator | Nature Photographer

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where camping trips and mountain hikes shaped my love for the wild. That love became my whole life—I’ve since climbed, skied, and dove across the world. I left my corporate job two years ago to live this life more fully, and I thrive in remote places, big challenges, and the quiet peace of wildness. Whether you’re training for a summit, diving into solo travel, or curious about getting into mountaineering or backcountry skiing, I’d love to help you feel confident taking the leap.

Abby Burlingame

Profession:

Outdoor Educator | Park Ranger

I grew up in the Seattle area, hiking and camping the Cascades in the summer and skiing them in the winter, but drifted away from the outdoors until halfway through college. A summer as a Volunteer Vacation Crew Leader with Washington Trails Association, followed by an internship at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, set me on nearly a decade-long career with the National Park Service.

I’ve worked at small monuments and large parks alike—always connecting visitors to the outdoors through interpretation, trip planning, and education. For me, “outdoors” can mean anything from an epic, once-in-a-lifetime trek to a slow, mindful walk in a city park. My passion is helping people connect to place in meaningful ways, whether they’re solo adventurers, first-time hikers, or multi-generational families.
